We are excited to launch our Year 10 Work Experience Programme! Work experience provides students with a valuable opportunity to prepare for the world of work, build confidence, and gain real-world experiences that will support their future college, apprenticeship, and higher education applications.
Work Experience Week: 8th – 12th February 2027
Placement Responsibility: Students are required to secure their own work experience placements.
To ensure all placements are approved and safe, students must complete two essential online forms. Logins and instructions will be sent home with students during the week commencing 12th October 2026:
Consent Form Deadline: 30th October 2026
Self-Placement Form Deadline: 27th November 2026
All copies of key documents and helpful links will be available here on the school website following our student launch.
Every proposed placement must undergo a formal vetting process through our partners at Our Futures. Before a student can begin their placement, Our Futures will complete all necessary Health and Safety checks and verify that the employer holds valid Employer’s Liability Insurance (a copy of the certificate must be provided).
We invite parents and carers to join us for a dedicated online Teams Information Event on 22nd October 2026 to learn more about how to support your child through the placement process.
Please Note: Vetting placements takes time. We strongly encourage students to start reaching out to potential employers right away and not leave finding a placement until the last minute.
